Eric J. Sanchez
Client Liaison, Intellectual PropertyCommunication. If there’s one thing I want to bring to our intellectual property team, it’s communication. Yes, I want to help Tara and her paralegals communicate within the rest of our firm so we can maximize our resources to win for our clients. But more than that, I want to build a connection between our clients and our intellectual property rights protection team.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin got their start in the fast-paced world of personal injury and workers’ compensation. And while relationships with our clients have always been a priority, intellectual property rights enforcement is a different ballgame. Because these cases can last as long as 10 years, we need a relationship – we need trust and open communication – with our clients.
Cultivating and maintaining that trust and open communication with our patent infringement case clients is my job. I believe my experience up until this point has prepared me well for this task.
After growing up in the Silicon Valley, I served two years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and an additional six years as an active or inactive reserve. The Marines put their lives up against their ability to communicate. The importance and ability to operate as a team are among the most valuable things I learned in the Corps, and I plan to use that ability to help our patent law team.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from California State-East Bay, while working full time and volunteering. I have also studied both theology and psychology on the graduate level in both the United States and Canada.
